The Half Ball Adaptor is a "must-have" accessory - it saves you from sacrificing a fluid head when mounting the MYT Glide on a tripod. Our Static and Cheese Plates are intentionally threaded to receive these adaptors, and each adaptor comes with 3 stainless steel screws and an allan key for your use. Nicknamed the "Crazy Daisy," our 150mm Half Ball Adaptor was designed specifically for the MYT line of Glides but can work in other environments as well. Anywhere a 150mm Half Ball is needed, our adaptor will work. The MYT "Crazy Daisy" adaptor shares the same M6 threads as the Cartoni Half Ball Adaptor. Like our bowls, we machine it out of one solid block of high grade aluminum and fit it with a stainless steel thread. An aluminum knob, not a plastic one, is also made from one block of aluminum. The same knob is used on our MYT Mitchell Base Adaptor. The MYT "Crazy Daisy" works with Medium and Large MYT Glide models.
