AT-A39/T Uplink module provides a flexible interface option, Gigabit copper. This flexibility allows Rapier and 8700 seriesL3 switches to span a wide variety of network topologies and physical media. It can be changed or replaced to meet changing network requirements, reducing backup inventory costs.

AT-A39/T operates at 1000Mbps only. 10/100/1000Mbps operation is available only if the AT-A39/T Uplink Module is installed in a Rapier G6, Rapier G6F, Rapier i or AT-8700XL model, otherwise operation is fixed at 1000Mbps.
