The Notebook Guardian is a one-piece lock and cable system that protects against theft of notebooks and other devices that have a built-in security slot. This strong one-piece lock and cable delivers excellent protection against theft. It is very easy to use, easy to coil and stow away, and fits neatly into most notebook carrying cases. The Notebook Guardian is developed around PC Guardian's patented tamper-resistant stainless steel lock mechanism, protected by a chrome-plated zinc cable collar and black impact-resistant nylon bumper. The one-piece lock is attached to a six-foot multi-strand galvanized steel security cable, which is sheathed in black PVC to ΒΌ-inch thickness. Under a master key system, each lock is keyed differently from the others. A master key is provided to a designated supervisor. The master key is capable of unlocking any of the locks. This package also includes a Partition Cable Anchor. The Partition Cable Anchor is a strong, practical security cable anchor for use in modular offices and cubicles. Made of two interlocking pieces of durable galvanized steel, the Partition Cable Anchor is portable, easy to use, and resists tampering. It fits modular offices designed by Herman Miller, Hayworth, and Steelcase.
