The SSR-HTX32-16 is a high-density 10/100Base-TX T-Series Fast Ethernet module for the X- Pedition switch router 8000 and 8600 chassis. Providing 16-port 10/100 auto-negotiable switched and routed 10/100Base-TX connectivity via Category 5 RJ45 connectors, this module is ideal for connecting high-speed servers and power users.
The SSR-HTX32-16 T-Series switch router module delivers full-function Layer 2/3/4 switching. With Enterasys Networks' state-of-the-art, application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC), the SSR-HTX32-16 switch router module performs switching and routing on hardware, thereby eliminating performance bottlenecks caused by a single processor. In addition to its performance, the SSR-HTX32-16 provides application switching such as network address transition, server load balancing, per-flow rate limiting and access control lists. This T-Series module provides additional support for Port Rate Limiting, Aggregate Rate Limiting and Local Hardware Routing Table Support.
