The dual console feature of the SV1632DS allows the KVM to be controlled from either of 2 user consoles (one or the other not both simultaneously). This provides flexibility when used with rackmount cabinets, allowing an internal and external control console or in any situation where having 2 access points is beneficial.

The SV1632DS is designed to work with Dell, Compaq, IBM and HP servers, all PC notebook computers, and Compaq Alpha systems, ensuring a smooth and reliable operating experience. Connected systems are quickly switched between using fast-switch buttons. An On-Screen Display (OSD) feature allows PC selection from an on-screen menu of user-defined computer names. This switch built in OSD security keeps unwanted users out. Its low cost, super small size, and high 1920x1440 resolution display capability make this switch perfect for any application where reliability, compatibility, and faultless operation are important.
