The introduction of IP Cameras and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) has made it easy for anyone to install and use a high-quality video surveillance system. This kit comes with everything you need to install and setup an IP-based CCTV system, except a hard drive for the NVR.
It includes four waterproof cameras, each of which carries an IP66 Ingress Protection rating. The cameras are true day/night cameras with 30 infrared LEDs, allowing them to capture images in conditions of total darkness (0 lux). They connect to the NVR with Ethernet cables, which also provide the necessary power to the cameras using the Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature.
The NVR can be accessed directly using the built-in OSD menu, over the internet using a web-based client, and from your Android™ or iOS® mobile device. It is designed to support a wide range of IP cameras from Monoprice and various other manufacturers, including Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras and cameras equipped with a microphone to pick up audio (not included).
