Gold Series 30 ribbon delivers increased character life and dual bar-code/text printing capabilities in your Printronix P5000 Line Matrix Printers, including P5220S. Single ink formulation provides optimal images for both text and bar-code printing to eliminate the need to purchase and inventory two separate ribbon types. All printed images are dry to the touch as they emerge from the printer. Images will not run, streak or smear. Solid flanges on spool reduce ribbon contact during changes, improve ribbon tracking and improve print quality. Metalized stitching optimizes the reliability of the ribbon reversing function on your Printronix printer. Ribbon yields 30 million characters or 3400 shipping labels (AIAG-style). Ribbon is individually wrapped to minimize evaporation and degradation of the ink or ribbon fabric. It also provides outstanding performance in all previous Printronix line matrix printers, including P300, P600, P3000, P4280, P6000 and P9000.
