The new IBM 2U Universal Tape Autoloader 3362 Model 2LX offers high capacity, performance, and technology designed for the midrange xSeries environment. This model incorporates a single Linear Tape-Open (LTO) IBM Generation 3 Drive, which more than doubles tape drive performance over the previous generation Tape Drives, up to 80 MB/sec native data transfer rate (up to 160 MB/sec with 2:1 compression).
