Windows Storage Server 2003 (WSS 2003) operating system is pre-installed and optimized for the DL100 Storage Server and includes HP-specific management tools. In a small or branch office, the DL100 Storage Server serves as the file storage device hosting local user files and/or Exchange database and log files. Included in WSS 2003 is a print hosting option, where the DL100 can also serve as the local print server.
