The NC7170 features two ports on a single adapter, allowing customers to save valuable I/O slots for other purposes. Each port supports a PCI-X 64-bit/133MHz interface, which is also compatible with traditional PCI slots. The 10/100/1000Mbps capability enables the NC7170 to be used in Ethernet or Fast Ethernet legacy wiring plants, as well as for Gigabit environments.
