This hot-swap, redundant power supply option allows IBM eServer xSeries x336 customers to increase availability and uptime by adding a second power supply to the server. The power supply option includes everything needed to install the power supply. Kit includes a standard 2.8M (9ft) IEC rack jumper cord and a special IEC C14 to dual C13 "Y" cable. This "Y" cable allows users to power two server power supplies from a single outlet on a properly designed power distribution unit (PDU) like the IBM Enterprise PDUs.
