The MDS 9134 Fabric Switch comes with 32 autosensing Fibre Channel ports which operate at 1, 2, or 4Gb plus 2 - 10Gb Fibre Channel ports for a total of 34 fixed ports. When configured with 24 or 32 active 4Gb ports, an 8-port software activation license is available for "pay as you grow" expansion in 8-port increments up to the 32, 4Gb port maximum of the switch. The two 10Gb ports are licensed separately and the 10Gb LTU for these ports can be purchased when needed, this license is included with the 48 and 64 port solution kits.
