The APP1000 Application Server Appliance enables the deployment of Linksys One applications for Linksys One networks. The APP1000 features a 500 MHZ ARMbased processor with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of FLASH. There is a single 10/100 Ethernet port, which is IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) capable, allowing the Application Server Appliance to be powered by a PoE switch. Linksys One applications are tightly integrated with Linksys One hardware platforms, and thus provide enhanced functionality over standalone applications, while at the same time simplifying the user experience.
