The hardened and upgradeable ConnectPort WAN VPN 3G Wireless EV-DO Router provides secure high-speed wireless connectivity to remote sites and devices. It can be used for primary wireless broadband network connectivity to equipment at remote locations, as well as for a backup to existing land-line communications. It is ideal for use where wired networks (leased line/frame relay, ISDN, DSL) are not feasible, or where alternative network connections are required.
Applications include utilities, industrial automation, POS/retail, financial (ATMs), traffic, medical, video surveillance and more. For applications requiring secure connections, ConnectPort WAN VPN offers an available integrated IPsec VPN client/server for true end to end data protection.
